Invitation to Submit - Open to All

The Consortium of Universities for Global Health (CUGH) invites all persons wishing to report original research, innovative projects or novel programs related to global health to submit abstracts to be considered for presentation.

All abstract presenters MUST register and pay the registration fee and attend in person in order to have an accepted abstract included at the conference. Virtual attendance is not possible.

Only one abstract per submitter/presenter will be accepted.

IMPORTANT: Download and review the FAQs Sheet to determine the correct pathway for your abstract (Scientific Abstract v. Program & Project Abstract v. Global Health Education Abstract), and for the required information for each abstract type. Abstracts that are submitted to the wrong pathway, or that do not include the required information, risk lower review scores and higher probability of being rejected for presentation.

  • If accepted for oral abstract presentation, the presenter must register/pay and participate in person at the CUGH 2025 conference. Virtual attendance is not possible. This will allow audience members to ask presenters questions during the session.

  • If accepted for poster abstract presentation, presenters must register/pay and participate in person at the CUGH 2025 conference. Virtual attendance is not possible. Attendees will be able to schedule time with the presenters for Q&A and to discuss their work during poster presentation viewing times.

Award Opportunities

Various awards and opportunities are available for those submitting abstracts to CUGH2025, including the CUGH Global Health Student Poster Competition, James G. Hakim Global Health Award, and Bursaries. See the Awards Page to see a full list of opportunities.
